إذا كنت من الأشخاص الذين كان يحلوا لهم الفِرارُ من المدرسة، وقفزت فوق
أسوارهـا هَرَبـاً قَد تتساءَلُ عَمَّا يَدُورُ في دَوَاخِلِنا ومَا نودُّ قولَهُ بتسمية هذه الفعالية ... هِارِبُـونَ إلى المدرسـة
لأن اختلافَ الواقِعِ يُحتِّمُ اختلافَ النتَائِجْ
فالواقع الذي يعيشه أطفال غـزة والحصار الفكري والحركي والاقتصادي حَرَمَ الآلافَ مِنْهُم من مدرسة وكتب وأقلام، بعد تهديم ما يقارب ال 220 مدرسة خلال الغارة الإسرائيلية في 2008-2009 وجرَّاءَ العدوان المستمر على البشر والشجر والحجر
وبرغمِ الحدودِ والأسوارِ والجنودِ ما زالَ الكثيرُ منهم يحلُمُونَ بمُستقبلٍ أفضَلَ في هذا العالمِ المليءِ بالكلمات لا يُجبرُون فيه على الهروب وتخطِّي الصِعَابْ للوُصولِ إلى الصف
فأطفـال غـزة يهربـون إلـى الــمدارس لا منهـا ...
هـاربـون إلـى المدرســة: حفـل تضامني مع مجموعةٍ من الفنانين والموسيقيين المحليين إحياءً لذكرى صمود أهلنا اليومي في فلسطـين ودعمِ عودةِ أطفال غـزة إلى مقاعد الدراسة من خلال توجيه ريع الاحتفال لدعم مراكز محو الأمية لصغار السن بهدف إعادة تأهيلهم للانضمام إلى النظام التعليمي الرسمي

If you spent most of your school days dreaming about fleeing school and climbing up its walls to escape your lessons, well you might be perplexed by the title of our event “Exit to…School”
Realties shape Outcomes…
As a result of the siege on Gaza and its devastating effects on education, travel and economy, thousands of children have been deprived from continuing their school education, having books and basic school materials. This reality became even grimmer after 220 schools were destroyed by the Israeli offense in 2008-2009.
While they resist closed borders, stretching walls and the armies they face, many children dream of a safer tomorrow in this world wrapped in words; where they do not have to suffer from these daily obstacles to reach their classes.
The children of Gaza run to schools...not away from them.
In solidarity with the resilience of Palestine and Palestinians, a group of local artists and musicians join their efforts to help children in Gaza go back to school. The proceeds of this event will be dedicated to support the children’s literacy centers in Gaza which aim to reintegrate them into the official school system.
