Info: Ziad Nawfal is a DJ, radio show host, independent music producer and music critic. He worked for a number of years in Beirut�s alternative record shop La CD-Th�que and its sister label, Incognito. Starting in 2006, he began flirting with music production and management, producing records for Lebanese rock band Scrambled Eggs and electronica outfit Munma. Nawfal has been regularly hosting live performances by Lebanese folk, rock, electro-pop and experimental performers on the Ruptures show for Radio Liban, and began releasing CD compilations of these sessions in 2009. He lives and works in Beirut.

Ghalya Saadawi is an independent writer, editor and researcher. She has taught in the social science departments of the American University of Beirut and the Lebanese American University and worked as a consultant and researcher for a number of non-governmental organizations concerned with culture and politics in Beirut and London. Some of her writings have appeared in Bidoun, Canvas, The Daily Star, the online art magazine Nowiswere, Frieze.com, among others. She is currently a PhD candidate at Goldsmiths College in London where she is researching questions of witness, testimony and fiction in contemporary artistic production in Lebanon and beyond.

Tanya Traboulsi is a freelance photographer who spent her youth between Lebanon and Austria. Traboulsi�s journalistic photos have appeared in numerous publications including the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, The Daily Star and The National. Since 2006, Traboulsi's on-going Music is Life series has been documenting the Lebanese alternative music scene, as it evolves locally and internationally. Intimate and alluring, this project has allowed Tanya unprecedented access to moments in the studio, live performances as well as individual portraits. She has a number of photographic works in progress including I Love You Too, which explores the posthumous traces left in a family home, and an online visual collaboration between Vienna and Beirut called Tuesdays at 15.30. Her photographs have been exhibited in New York, London, Beirut and Prague. She is currently based in Beirut.
